John,

Thanks for sharing your insights. Celebrating 24 years of marriage is truly something to be proud of because it highlights that marriage can be healthy and loving after so many years of being together with your spouse. And yes, I remember the Heatwave "old-school" classic. (SMILE)

Marlon,

Great seeing you at the beginning of the month. And yes I did recover my iPhone (praise the Lord). Real quick after almost 24 years of marriage I can tell you the three ingredients to a successful marriage. First the relationship with the Lord that reflects the fact that the marriage is "only" for a lifetime. I saw only because we will be with the Lord for eternity and what's a lifetime compared with eternity. So, we are sons and daughters of the Most High before we get married, after we are married, to eternity, so treat that spouse like the kings and queens that they are. Second, point, be very quick to forgive and most importantly forget. Believe me, each one of us misses the mark in some area of our lives, and therefore need to be forgiven and not reminded of our flaws, but prayed over, and completely forgiven. This also maintains harmony and most importantly keeps home a "safe" place where we can be ourselves and know we won't be judged. Third and certain not least is LOVE. Unconditional love and true love that reflects you have married the man and woman of your dreams, and you will love them forever and a day (Heatwave, Old School). The Apostle Paul says it best 1Corinthians13:13; "And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love".

Shalom to you and the family,
