Am I Living With Passion?
Are you?
When the alarm clock goes off in the morning, do you jump out of bed with a huge smile on your face? Or when the alarm clock goes off, do you hit the snooze button, wishing you had more time to sleep?
How do you start your day?
It’s unfortunate to see so many people just going through the motions in life, with no passion.
Do you know what I’m talking about?
They’re just existing with no real passion or excitement towards life.
Why is it that some people are totally fulfilled while others are depressed even though they have similar life experiences? What do you think the reason is for this?
To me, I believe the answer is: “They have different perspectives!”
Understand this, perspective is reality! Two people can walk into a house and have totally different feelings. And the reason for this is that they are looking through different colored glasses. One person is wearing red-tinted glasses and so everything seen has a red tint. The other person is wearing green-tinted glasses and so everything seen has a green tint.
This explains why some people are totally happy and fulfilled while others are angry and depressed when experiencing a similar life.
What is your perception towards life? Do you expect things to work out in your favor or do you feel problems will continue to trouble your life? What is your answer? Be honest.
To help you enhance the quality of your life, it’s time to transform your thinking so you live a positive and fulfilling life. Your perception is YOUR reality!
So your Opportunity Exercise is: Each day, for the next seven (7) days, you will write at least one (1) thing that you feel was a “positive” for that particular day. Also, you will write at least one (1) thing that you feel was a “negative.” For the “negative,” you will answer this question: “What can I learn from this ‘negative’ to grow and become better?” By answering this question, you will come to see value in all experiences regardless of your initial feelings.
