Isn't it great to have a personal relationship with God where you can experience God's grace? None of us are perfect and we all make some mistakes from time to time.

Eve, I appreciate your kind words. We never know how the blessings of meeting someone will manifest in the future. What if we all took the initiative to be truly PLEASANT to everyone we met, be it a stranger at the gas station or the cashier at the grocery store – how would our world be if we all lived with the mindset, “How I treat others makes a difference” today?

I am grateful for a loving family, endless opportunity and salvation through Jesus's blood, God's forgiveness and grace. And I am grateful that you, Marlon, came up to me 2 years ago (was it that long?) and introduced yourself at that Parent University meeting. What a blessing knowing you has been.

John, you and your wife have come from some great genes. When you talk about parents being married for 54 years, a 91 year old aunt and a 102 year old aunt, that's truly remarkable.

Thanks for sharing the importance of being grateful for our elders. Are you doing anything to capture their wisdom because today's generation could truly benefit from their knowledge.

Marlon,

First I am appreciative, thankful that your family returned home safely. Today I am thankful for the wisdom of elders in our lives; my in-laws who have been married for 54 years now; my 91 year old aunt who provides guidance from her home in Seattle; my wife's 102 year old aunt who quietly teaches us of the way things used to be so that we resurrect yesterday's disciplines.

"It's the young man who jumps out, looks around and sees little or nothing while the old man sits down, sits back and sees everything..." Yes wisdom is today's reflection.
