Who are the people in your life that are influencing you the most?
Where do you go when you need some advice?
How do you come to a resolution when you have to make a very important decision?
These questions are very important when you really think about it because WHAT WE DO TODAY WILL DICTATE WHERE WE WILL BE TOMORROW.
Holding the title of husband, father, son, brother, nephew, cousin, friend, and CEO, I realize that it’s key for me to have an inner circle that holds me accountable to being my best.
Throughout the years, I’ve been blessed with some wonderful relationships.
And now, I realize the importance of being crystal clear and intentional so my relationships are truly enhanced.
A few months ago, some of my closest friends started having weekly conference call discussions where we share, encourage, and pray with one another. Every Thursday morning, we call into a conference call number because we all live in different states.
We have personally experienced the power of God during our conference call discussions. Being open and secure enough to take off the mask and have REAL and honest conversations has been so liberating.
I encourage you to answer those three questions listed at the beginning of this message because it will allow you to be more conscious as to who is influencing you and how you make decisions.
Determine who the people are in your life with whom you seek to strengthen your relationships. Talk to them either individually or collectively about starting some type of mastermind group where you have regular conversations with the purpose of holding one another accountable to being your best.
Question: Who in your life do you most respect?
Question: Are you communicating with those persons on a regular basis?
